The Zea Relief Kunzea Pain Relief Cream Difference

Hayden Brass | 01 December

At Zea, our signature product is our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream. This anti-inflammatory cream contains 100% natural active ingredients, plus Vitamin E, to help assist with muscle, joint and nerve pain.

It’s estimated that as much as 60-85% of the world’s population suffers from some kind of musculoskeletal pain.1 Many of us shrug off everyday ailments and try to just get on with life, but living with discomfort can really take its toll on the body and mind.

Whether it’s pain from injury, muscle soreness, or something more long-term, it’s so crucial to find the products and therapies that work best for you.

We wanted to create a natural product that would improve the quality of life and wellbeing of our customers. It’s why we’ve thoughtfully formulated our multi-active Kunzea Pain Relief Cream with Tasmanian Kunzea Oil and other key active ingredients to protect, relieve, heal and soothe.

Read on to find out more about why the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream is our #1 best selling product and whether it's right for you!

Kunzea Pain Relief Cream

Multiple benefits and uses

Kunzea Pain Relief Cream is at the heart of our Zea Relief range, designed with the whole family in mind - any age, any stage of life.

Due to the efficient ability of this anti-inflammatory cream to absorb, Kunzea Pain Relief Cream is what we recommend to customers with more serious conditions, particularly joint-related.

This topical analgesic cream quickly penetrates through the skin to the area of pain or inflammation. It can assist muscle aches, soreness, strains, mild nerve pain, mild arthritis and joint pain.

Pain and inflammation can be caused by all sorts of things, from sports injuries to muscle tension and arthritis. If your pain is getting in the way of your quality of life, it’s important to have some products and modalities you can rely on to get you through and help your body to recover and heal.

Kunzea Pain Relief Cream may alleviate the symptoms of mild arthritis, including joint pain and tenderness thanks to active ingredients – Tasmanian Kunzea Ambigua Oil, Rosemary Antioxidant Extract, Tasmanian Lavender Oil and Vitamin E – which enhance the therapeutic benefits of Kunzea Oil.

For relief from pain, apply the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream directly to the joints and surrounding areas.

For more serious concerns, you can add in a little extra help from one (or a handful) of our other Zea Relief products. Read more about how to integrate the Uses and Benefits of Zea Relief Products.

For those with long-term pain conditions, you’ll be aware of how important it is to have a well-rounded approach to pain relief. Kunzea Pain Relief Cream can be safely used alongside many popular natural pain relief therapies, including massage, yoga, heat therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture and anything else you’ve found along the way that helps.

Pain relief with skin-supporting benefits

Kunzea Oil has been the basis of a number of trials thanks to its reported anti-inflammatory benefits. In particular, a 2014 trial found that Kunzea Oil provided a safe and anti-inflammatory benefit to the skin.2

We like to call this product our ‘inflammation-fighting moisturiser’ because it is not only an effective pain relief cream, it also makes a great full-body moisturiser.

The added benefit of Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E) - a mixture of alpha, beta, delta and gamma tocopherols – have great antioxidant, hydrating and skin protective properties.

It can be frustrating to try to find topical products that work for sensitive skin. If you’re someone who finds that they react to topical pharmaceutical products, it’s important to look for products that are made from natural, nourishing ingredients that are non-irritating.

Many of your standard topical NSAIDs and pharmaceutical pain relief products may have some well-known active ingredients but they fill the base with nasties such as petroleum jelly and paraffin.

We kept sensitive skin types front of mind while formulating the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream, so that it is not only an effective pain relief cream for various conditions, but also nourishing for the skin and safe on most skin types especially sensitive.

This beautiful, natural formulation not only soothes sensitive skin, but it also relieves skin inflammation and irritation.

The all-natural ingredients like Coconut and Macadamia Nut Oils, along with nourishing Cocoa and Shea Butters, means that your skin will also be hydrated and supported after each application.

Locally sourced ingredients

If you’re anything like the Zea team, you also believe in the healing power of nature. That’s why we chose to use Kunzea Oil and other Australian sourced ingredients as the basis for all our products.

The Kunzea Pain Relief Cream is no exception! Alongside the Australian native Kunzea Oil we base all our products on, we’ve also included the locally sourced ingredients such as Tasmanian Lavender Oil and Macadamia Nut Oil to form the base of this proudly Australian made and owned product.

The star ingredient at the heart of this product - Kunzea Oil - comes from the pristine wilderness of North-East Tasmania.
